PROVIDING SAFE , QUALITY MENTOR RELATIONSHIPS AND IMPROVING  THE LIVES OF YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Kinship Youth Mentoring of Princeton is a non-profit organization that believes

in and promotes the concept of mentoring. We value our youth and know that

when caring adults consistently support and encourage them through life’s

challenges, positive and exciting changes begin to occur!

What is a Mentor?

A Mentor is trusted friend, an active listener, a supporter, and an encourager.

At Kinship, we are making a difference one friendship at a time!

Kinship Youth Mentoring of Princeton

Take a moment to think back to your years growing up. Who was a mentor to you? Did you have someone in your life that spent time listening to you, encouraging you, and helping you to realize your worth and value?

We know from research and experience that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on the lives of young people. We are undergoing some exciting and challenging changes and are looking to build our collaboration with local faith communities. We believe that it takes a village to raise resilient and hopeful children, and we are all part of that village.

Kinship has a long-standing commitment to pouring into the lives of kids and families and we’d like to invite you to be part of the next chapter. There are many ways you can be involved. We are actively recruiting youth mentors, seeking additional kinskids and looking for volunteers to help with our fundraising events. If you would be willing to serve as a liaison for Kinship with your faith community we are looking for you. Maybe you or someone you know has the passion, expertise and time to fill our director role.  We are also looking for financial support and would love to have someone help us with grant writing.

We currently have kinskids waiting to be matched! If you are passionate about kids and have a few hours a month to make a positive difference in the life of a child, please consider becoming part of Kinship as a mentor. We not only encourage individuals to mentor, but couples and families as well. Please see our new website or contact us for more information.
